THE KING'S MEN BARBERSHOP CHORUS
King's Men Barbershop Chorus director is John Mealus. You can see our future sing outs listed on the Grandmas' Boyfriends web site - http://grandmasboyfriendsbarbershopquartet.weebly.com. Above picture taken 4/ 19/22 at St Cecelia Catholic Church, Houston
King's Men meet Tuesday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 11612 Memorial Drive, Houston, 77024 in the Memorial Area.
Please come and join us in a fun time of harmonizing. Experience the thrill of hearing 4 harmony parts being sung. No previous experience is required. We have learning files for many songs to help you learn whatever part you choose to sing: tenor, lead, baritone or bass. Always call before coming the first time to make sure we are meeting as we may be singing for a church luncheon, retirement group, club or whatever.
For information or to schedule a performance please contact Allan Sturdivant, 281-705-7767, [email protected]
Some of our favorite songs are: Deep in the Heart of Texas, God Bless America, Daddy Sang Bass, Let Me Call You Sweetheart, Alexander's Ragtime Band, Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah, Hello Mary Lou, Wait Till the Sun Shines Nellie, Roll Out the Barrel, and Bill Grogan's goat .
Nov. 3, 2017, The Abbey at Westminster Plaza, 2855 Westheimer Plaza Dr, Houston. It was rewarding to have so many residents tell us as we were leaving "Please come back soon".
